Games can't use cheats anymore
There was a time when all gamers could use cheats to finish a game faster or to be the best, but that age is gone. Only a few games these days allow players to use cheats, but I don't like that games, because I like to test the real experience of playing.
Warcraft 3, GTA 3, Heroes 3, Mortal Kombat, these were just a few games that were enabling cheats and you could be the mightiest player ever. Personally I used some cheats in these games, especially in Warcraft 3, because I wasn't able to finish the campaign and was couldn't try over and over again. I also used cheats in GTA 3, because this was extremely fun and you could make it rain with tanks, which was so amusing, at that time. Nowadays I can't play games with cheats, because I will ruin the fun of the game and once you start using cheats, you can't stop anymore - see top details here.
These cheats where actually some codes that you had to write in console mod or chat and these enabled almost everything that you want. In Warcraft the best cheat was invincibility, in Heroes were cheats for money and units, in GTA best cheats were for weapons, crazy cars or escaping the police. All these made the game extremely entertaining, but not for long, because when you can do everything that you want, it becomes quite boring - get the best guide.
I like a lot more the games today, because it's not a choice anymore if you want to choose to play with cheats or not, you just simply can't do that and I believe that many players prefer that, especially when you play online with multiplayers. There was also a time when lots of players used all kinds of cheats or map hacks to be able to beat everyone, but this is just cheating and it's wrong. Don't play with cheats, be honest and enjoy your games.
